DOT Training & Certification For Added Peace Of Mind

Satisfy all federal requirements while creating a safer work environment with your choice of on-site or virtual DOT compliance trainings.

Why DOT Training?

Organizations within the Department of Transportation (DOT) include Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), Federal Transit Authority (FTA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG).

Supervisors and employees must be DOT-compliant by meeting appropriate guidelines including drug and alcohol testing and training. Our programs help ensure that your employees are well-informed of the DOT regulations and have received adequate training. By providing professional DOT training sessions to organizations throughout the United States, we strive to decrease the risk of workplace accidents and keep the public safe.

Who is DOT Certification Training for?

All employees who work in a position regulated by DOT are subject to drug and alcohol testing. These personnel need to complete the DOT training requirements and testing in order to remain compliant.

As an employer, you are responsible for the education of your employees and for the safety of the public—which is the main objective of DOT-compliance training. Providing necessary training sessions for your team ensures you meet federal regulations while promoting workplace safety.

How Do Our DOT Trainings Work?

PAW works around your company’s schedule. We understand you are busy and schedules don’t always align. After all, you have a business to run. That’s why we provide two platforms for DOT safety training courses, choose from our virtual or on-site modalities.

On-site Training

Nothing beats the benefits of in-person training, which is why our team of experts are prepared to come to you. Wherever you are located in the United States, we will head your way to conduct on-site training for your team. Together, we will cover how to stay compliant and build a program based on best practices.

Virtual Trainings

If you expect to run into scheduling conflicts within your organization, we’ve made our DOT training sessions available online as well. You can browse our selection of virtual DOT trainings and choose the ones that apply to your organization. This option makes it much easier for your employees to go through the training at their own pace, when their schedules allow. Once the training has been completed and examinations passed, your employees will receive a certificate of completion in their inbox. Through our curated platform, your organization will have full visibility of your employees’ progress for each training type requested.

Available DOT Courses

Currently, we have three types of DOT-compliant on-site or virtual courses to choose from with three more coming soon:

This course is specifically designed for your supervisors. We will train them so that they learn to successfully identify employees who may be under the influence of illegal substances.
Our BAT course will train select employees to become professional breath alcohol technicians so they can perform the testing process on other employees in order to stay compliant with the Department of Transportation.

Our urine specimen collector course provides  step-by-step instruction necessary to become a qualified collector. Attendees are required to complete a proficiency demonstration upon the completion of qualification training.

Do you know how well your workplace drug and alcohol testing program will hold up to an audit. Allow our training specialists to review your site, policies and standard operating procedures to ensure your company practices will stand up under scrutiny. A site audit is an invaluable tool to evaluate your program’s adherence to best practices.

Educate your drivers and supervisors to successfully use and understand their ELD’s to reduce fatigue and prevent accidents.
